Universalpixel was founded in 2010 because of our great passion for creativity and fashion. Universalpixels founders are a creative team who is based in Malmo. UP is a design platform were everybody who love fashion gets a chance to have their own personalized products sold in the web shop, stores and through a t-shirt vending machine.


In the spring of 2011 UP launched a whole new sales concept, selected designs printed t-shirts are beeing rolled in enviromental paper jars and then sold through UP's t-shirt vending machine. The T shirt machine works as a showcase and a marketing column for those who have been selected by NK Denim buyers and UP's design team. NK Stockholm is a mall which has 9 million people to pass each year, to be seen there is an incredible opportunity!

UP at Game Assembly's "Meet and Greet"
Today UP visited Game Assemblys fourth Meet and Greet. There were over 30 companies that came to meet their students and we meet some fantastic developers and 3D-artists.

The jury's motivation:
This year's rookie industry characterized by innovative passion and a strong entrepreneurial drive. The winner is a good role model for young entrepreneurs in Malmo. Rookie of the year has created a platform that brings together the physical and digital world and provides more creative opportunity to reach a larger market. The company seems almost "automatic" as the winner of this year's Enterprise rookie 2012th

The 27/11 it was made official that UP is one of three finalist of the great prize "rookie of the year" at Malmö Enterprise's gala.

We'll know who takes home the price on 13 February 2013 on the Gala.

Business Challenge
This week we went to UP at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm for the final event of the Business Challenge where we were nominated in three categories, "Best web strategy", "This year's business idea" and "The company of the year". The competition was fierce and we met many talented businesses and entrepreneurs.

UP won in the category "web strategy" and we are very happy about that.

 
UP in collaboration with Special K
UP starts a "Pink Ribbon" campaign in collaboration with Special K. The campaign aims to raise awareness of women to acquire the good habit to examine their own breasts regularly by making the eighth month to a breast day.

The 8th of each month we launch a self-designed T-shirt by a famous blogger in support of the campaign. The t-shirt will be for sale on universalpixel.se.

MEN NIGHT @ NK DENIM
Wednesday 26 September, NK Stockholm have a men's evening in the building and of course, UP's will be there.
